Royal Enfield’s 2025 Lineup: Upcoming Bikes, Expected Features and Launch Details

Royal Enfield is preparing to launch an exciting range of motorcycles in 2025 that will cater to different segments of riders. The iconic Indian motorcycle brand, known for its classic thump and retro styling, is expanding its portfolio with new engine platforms, electric vehicle technology, and premium features. Here’s an exclusive look at what enthusiasts can expect from Royal Enfield in the coming year.

The most anticipated launch is the updated Himalayan 450

which debuted in late 2023. For 2025, Royal Enfield is expected to refine this adventure tourer with improved suspension tuning and software updates for its 452cc liquid-cooled engine. The bike may get a revised gearbox for smoother shifting and an upgraded TFT display with enhanced navigation features. Priced between ₹2.80-3.10 lakh, the new Himalayan 450 will continue to compete with the KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS.

Another significant launch will be the Shotgun 650

A muscular cruiser based on the 650cc parallel-twin platform. This bike features a bold, minimalist design with chopped fenders, a low-slung stance, and wide handlebars. Unlike the Interceptor 650, the Shotgun will focus on customization with multiple accessory options. Expect a price tag of ₹3.25-3.50 lakh when it launches around mid-2025.

Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle, the Classic 350 Electric

Slated for a festive season 2025 launch. Retaining the iconic Classic design, this EV will offer an 80-100 km range on a single charge with fast-charging capability. The electric Classic aims to attract urban commuters with its familiar styling and low running costs. Pricing is expected to start at ₹1.90 lakh after subsidies.

For performance enthusiasts, Royal Enfield might unveil the Continental GT 850

A larger displacement cafe racer with an 848cc parallel-twin engine. This bike will feature premium components like USD forks, radial brakes, and multiple riding modes. With a power output close to 80 bhp, the GT 850 will compete with Triumph’s Street Twin and Kawasaki’s Z650RS. It could be priced around ₹4.50 lakh, making it Royal Enfield’s most expensive offering yet.

The company is also developing a new Hunter 450

A street-focused scrambler using the Himalayan’s 452cc engine in a detuned state. This lightweight motorcycle (under 180 kg) will target young urban riders looking for a stylish daily commuter with occasional off-road capability. Expected to cost ₹2.20-2.40 lakh, the Hunter 450 will slot between the existing Hunter 350 and Himalayan 450.

Beyond these models, Royal Enfield is working on expanding its 450cc platform to more bikes, including a potential roadster and modern classic. The brand is also focusing on global markets, with plans to introduce these models in Europe and Southeast Asia. With this diverse 2025 lineup, Royal Enfield aims to strengthen its position in the mid-weight motorcycle segment while entering the electric vehicle space.
